The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is responsible for enforcement and technical assistance related to title I (employment) of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The EEOC also enforces other employment-related laws established in the U.S. including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Equal Pay Act of 1963, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA), Sections 501 and 505 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Civil Rights Act of 1991

Accessing the EEOC Collection

The EEOC document collection currently consists of 108 documents located on the EEOC web site. The documents include the text of all laws enforced by EEOC, all regulations promulgated by EEOC, portions of the EEOC Compliance Manual that are available electronically, enforcement guidance, memos of understanding, and helpful publications. Enter search terms in the seach box and press the "submit" button to conduct your search. The "Advanced" link allows you to customize your search in several ways.
